This is the finest grade of stone-ground Uji Matcha, also used in tea ceremonies.

Its distinctive feature is the beautiful deep green color that is characteristic of the highest quality Uji Matcha. We carefully grind the premium Uji Tencha (the raw material for Matcha) selected by our tea master and tea connoisseur. It is free from synthetic coloring and additives. This truly is the top-tier Uji Matcha, where the color and froth combine harmoniously with the aroma and richness of the tea.

The tea leaves that become Matcha are cultivated by covering them with straw mats (Yoshibari) starting 20 days before harvest, blocking sunlight. Uji Matcha is known for its low bitterness and its characteristic sweet and mellow taste.
